Ian | 15 Apr 2006 | Black beer with no head. Lots of intense roasted amtl, lots of dryness on end. Choc/coffee. Aroma has some charcoal/choc. Some juicyness in mouth. Nice intense flavours. Seems to have a fairly healthy dollop of hop on end. |

Ian | 18 Mar 2006 | Virtually black in colour with beige head. Really chewy, tarry. Lots of tarry malt, coffee, dark choc. The finish really makes you have to take a breath. Bit of wood in there? Even a bit smokey. It coats the gums like a good red wine |
