Hogan Sampling		22 Jul 2025	Third night on for this North Yorkshire bitter from the Settle-based brewery, north-west of Skipton. Head and lacing, poor. Lasting, non-existent. A malty first bite. A gentle bitterness rising up. The odd hop or two joining in. A maltiness, with a touch of caramel thrown in, winning over the hops. A very dry maltiness lingering.

Hogan Sampling		20 Jul 2025	Fresh on today and presented with good head and lacing was this North Yorkshire bitter from the Settle-based brewery set up in 2012, north-west of Skipton, and bordering the Yorkshire Dales National Park. As for its head and lacing lasting, I would say only fair as some decants became necessary. A fruit-infused bitter first bite. A hoppy fruitiness rising up. A moreish bitterness winning over and a caramel-infused malty note or two performing the odd somersault. A hoppy dryness bowing out for my taste buds.
