| Hogan Sampling | ![]() | 25 Oct 2025 | Also tried this one on my visit two weeks earlier. Just as good. Very good head and lacing and completely lasting on this nanobrewery's bitter using Target hops. A dry maltiness combined with its bitterness rising. A hoppiness joining in and a bitter maltiness prevailing before its sliding downwards. |

| Hogan Sampling | ![]() | 20 Sep 2025 | Very good head and lacing and lasting on this traditional bitter also from the Four Candles' nano-brewery. A very malty bittered first bite. A moreish bitterness veering up with a good dose of maltiness, complete with a biscuity caramel-infused malt flavouring playing out. |
