Hogan Sampling		18 Jul 2026	Very good head and lasting lacing on this straw-coloured American-hopped session pale ale named after the American USAAF B-24 Liberator aircraft that were stationed at the Cheddington RAF base during World War II. This was not far from where the Tring Brewery was set up in 1992 in the market town of Tring, Hertfordshire, and reviving brewing after a 50-year gap. A sweet hoppy first bite. A honey-infused hoppiness rising from its American Citra and Mosaic hops with citrus fruits, grapefruit and lychee tantalising my taste buds. A gentle malty note for balance from its UK Maris Otter pale malt grains. A fruited hoppiness with hints of tropical fruit such as mango and passionfruit alongside a resinous pine finish paddling out. Served in fine fettle.
