Hogan SamplingGood15 Nov 2025 1st ale of this visit: This regular house ale in The Cockpit micro is named Pit, and no doubt named after Tonbridge's 3.8% copper-coloured bitter, Coppernob. Very good head and lacing and lasting throughout. A dry hoppy first bite. A very pleasant fruity hoppiness climbing up and aided by its Kentish hops: Northdown, Challenger, Golding and Fuggles. A fruited note or two dancing on my taste buds with a hint of herb and spice thrown in. A dry fruit-infused hoppiness sliding downwards with a touch of biscuity maltiness.
Hogan SamplingGood12 Oct 2024 In good shape the head and lacing. A hoppy and fruity mouthfeel with a lingering dryness.
