Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

Hogan SamplingGood12 Jul 2025 Very good head and lacing with a pleasant foaminess lasting on this Bermondsey-based bitter. A cloudy look about it and rather reflecting the sky for most of the day. A very bitter first bite. A dry wholesome bitterness rising with a malty touch to it. The odd nutty-infused hoppy note or two getting in on the act to truly float my boat before sailing off into the evening's sunshine.
