Hogan Sampling | ![]() | 22 May 2025 | Good head and lacing and lasting on this Italian bitter brewed at the Finchampstead-based brewery in Wokingham and now on its fourth night on. A fruity bitterness greeted me again on the first hit from it. A sourness not detected on Tuesday entered the equation and caused it to be somewhat medicinal which is a shame as not there on Tuesday. A bitterness tinged with sourness lingered. |

Hogan Sampling | ![]() | 20 May 2025 | Second night on and still good head and lacing on this Italian bitter brewed at the Finchampstead-based brewery in Wokingham, using a traditional bitter recipe but with German hops. A first hit of fruity bitterness. This continued into the mouthfeel which remained entertained with yet more hops not so familiar with and just after sampling the Kent pale with its experimental hops abounding. A hoppiness most certainly lingered on. |

Hogan Sampling | ![]() | 30 Mar 2025 | Third night on for the new barrel of this Italian bitter and a collaboration with Berkshire-based Siren Craft. Still holding its head and lacing well. A lightly bitter first hit. A full bitterness coming to the fore with a slight sharpness hitting the aftertaste. |
Hogan Sampling | ![]() | 28 Mar 2025 | A new barrel freshly on today of this Italian bitter and a collaboration with Berkshire-based Siren Craft Brew meant good head and lacing. A hoppy first hit. A bitter and fruity hoppiness was presented from the German hops which were used for this Italian brew. A hoppy dryness persisted. |

Hogan Sampling | ![]() | 25 Mar 2025 | Its 3rd night on and holding its head and lacing well. A somewhat sharp first hit! A bitterness intermingling with a fruity hoppiness from the German hops. The Italian collaboration with Berkshire-based Siren Craft Brew was an interesting one to sample here and where the same German hops are used for the Italian brew or two. A sharpness pervaded the moreishly dry aftertaste. |
Hogan Sampling | Not Tried | 23 Mar 2025 | An Italian bitter which replaced the Memento. |
Philip Pirrip | ![]() | 23 Mar 2025 | Cask just put on. Good condition but unspectacular taste |
