Hogan Sampling | ![]() | 11 Oct 2025 | 1st beer: I was recommended this by a woman customer who had come back for another one as she told me it was stunning. An exceedingly frothy head on this Gadds' green hop strong pale and also very frothy lacing sticking to the side of the glass all the way down. A very hoppy first bite from its Challenger hops. A dry hoppiness rising through its heavy sweetness, no doubt from extra sugars added to make it stronger than your average green hop ale. Lashings of hoppy oiliness apparent and oozing downwards on its final descent. Very moreish but a half sufficed due to many others also to try. |
6.10% ABV.
