These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

Hogan SamplingGood25 Oct 2025 Head and lacing, minimal, and lasting, not able to. This Scottish mild from Edinburgh presented in its defence a fruited and bitter first hit. A malty bitterness rising with a hint of dark fruits and a touch of liquorice. A mildly sweet bitterness ambling downwards. Originally brewed at the start of 2024, it is a collaboration with Omnipollo, the brewery's closest pals from Stockholm and where it was first brewed. Certainly my first tasting of a Newbarns' brew as I recall.
