| Hogan Sampling | ![]() | 25 Oct 2025 | Head and lacing, minimal, and lasting, not able to. This Scottish mild from Edinburgh presented in its defence a fruited and bitter first hit. A malty bitterness rising with a hint of dark fruits and a touch of liquorice. A mildly sweet bitterness ambling downwards. Originally brewed at the start of 2024, it is a collaboration with Omnipollo, the brewery's closest pals from Stockholm and where it was first brewed. Certainly my first tasting of a Newbarns' brew as I recall. |
