Hogan Sampling		19 Sep 2026	1st beer of this visit: Presented with good head and lacing sticking to the end on this golden amber-coloured bitter from brewing set up in 2023 in the historic Galgate Mill near Lancaster, Lancashire. A dry bitter first hit. A fruited hoppiness rising from its local Northdown hops alongside Goldings and with the modern addition of Amarillo hops aiding a hint of stone fruit and a burst of zesty orange and tangerine. A maltiness afforded by its biscuit and caramel malts lending those flavours. A dry hopped fruitiness sailing out with an earthy, spicy hint alongside a citrusy note. Served in good nick.
