Ian | 07 Aug 2008 | I had this twice, which I'm glad about as it only came on that day and ran out in less than 6 hours. My favourite double IPA from America. Just so drinkable even for a 9% ABV beer. The hops are gorgeous and the malt and alcohol balance the beer. Great stuff. |

Ian | 02 Aug 2006 | My second year of having this and it was as good if not better than I remembered. The intense big US hop aroma is just so wonderful, fresh hops, grapefruit and golden syrup flavours and a wonderfully polished mouthfeel and finish. Definitely in my top 10 all time beer list. |

Ian | 04 Aug 2005 | Slightly cloudy dark copper/orange colour. Slight herb on the intensely hoppy slightly metallic aroma. Just a huge roller coaster of a beer. Superb, good citric lime flavour. Hops are just incredible. Did not drink like a 9% beer. I just wanted to keep tasting it. |
