Ian | 26 Feb 2009 | Pale chestnut colour, thin beige head. Lovely roasty toasty bitter. After not having a dark bitter in ages, I've had a few recently. Very good rich roasty toasty malts. Good beer. Tasty. |

Blair | 22 Nov 2008 | Not fantastic in my opinion, in fact fairly ordinary. Dark ad sweet. Not much else. |

Ian | 09 Aug 2007 | Dark ruby. Some dark fruit and malt on aroma. Actually some very nice fruits. Plums, some raspberry. Juicy, very light prickly hop on end. Just a little light on intensity. Enormously fruity and enjoyalbe mild though. Good character. The balance of fruit and hop works well. Not overly roasted malt. |
