Ian | 14 Mar 2008 | Black with thin beige head. Slightly choccy, some heat from alcohol. OK, that’s an impy stout. That woke me up from a mid afternoon lull. A little lacking in fullness in the mouth. Lots of beautiful dark choc on finish. Somewhat bitter, but not harsh. The dark choc on the finish is excellent. Settle down into a very subtle impy stout with an almost liquid 70% cocoa dark choc. This gets better as you drink it. Lovely. |
