Ian | 22 Oct 2005 | Having had this and the Herald, I am convinced that they had the barrels round the wrong way. Copper/orange colour with thin white head. Really nice cascades aroma with some grapefruit and choc. Fine in mouth with more hops. Great hoppy aroma and all over a very good beer |
4.00% ABV.
A pale copper-coloured bitter brewed with pale, crystal, and wheat malts and a touch of roasted barley. Styrian Goldings provide the bitterness with English Goldings for flavour and aroma. With a bittersweet palate giving way to a satisfying dry finish, B.
