This is part of the Dawkins chain of pubs, now supplied by its own brewery. Quiet and pleasant in the late afternoon.

Apparently run by the same people who own the Hillgrove Porter Stores. It was busy and we sat opposite 3 ladies who shop then natter. We nearly sat on their shopping giving them something else to natter about. I liked this pub. It felt lively and the beer list was excellent

The pub is found in Bristol, Avon, BS8 2BH.
A pub with the feeling of space due to it's high ceilings. L-shaped with cosy snug feel to it. Lots of shash-red wood panels and malted rye coloured walls. Stained glass behind the bar. Very characterful.
We have visited this pub 5 times, seen 13 different beers and tried 6 of them.
