Saturday afternoon - glorious day, number of drinkers outside in the sun. Arrived by bike - about 40 miles into a 50 mile leg of the C2C route having crossed the Penines from Cumbria. Very welcome Pitstop.
Had a pint of Saddle Sore that the landlord claims was his own recipe - not sure of strength 4.0 - just noted that it was excellent.
The pub is found in Allenheads, Northumberland, NE47 9HJ.
