13:45 Planned as the third stop on our crawl but sadly closed all day Wednesday. Unfortunately the target of our visit, the Elsecar preserved railway, runs on Wednesdays in August. Based on the quality of pubs and beer we found in the village I can thoroughly recommend Elsecar for a crawl but avoid Wednesdays.
