Late afternoon we were the only customers. First of the four pubs located around the NESW periphery of Brentford FC, of which I'd done many years ago and was prepared for disappointment. Scruffy interior and a garish exterior with building work ongoing however friendly welcome and despite the barmaid pulling through many pints from a fresh barrel her efforts were in vain.
