There used to be loads of pubs like this, but it now seems almost a throwback to visit a small house with a local trade.

An old-style corner house in Great Sutton Street, founded by 1879 and formerly a Whitbread pub but independent since 1993. There are small bars at ground and first floor level. Four handpumps on the bar.
