Late afternoon to early evening, welcome refreshment stop after today's 22,000 or so steps in 26C glorious sunshine. Many drinking establishments here adhere to early closing on Sundays and this one is no exception at 19.00! Much more peaceful and comfortable today with a quiet crowd with no clucking hens.

Early to mid afternoon for a beer and refuel stop, quiet upon arrival however this changed exponentially as throngs of large groups arrived during my stay comprising cackling crooning clucking hens emitting bouts of maniacal loud canned laughter prompted me to move on.

In a city full of quality brewpubs, Heyday’s mint green exterior stands out. While a brew ferments away next door, you can relax in a fresh, friendly pastel atmosphere. It’s not just the décor that is fresh at Heyday. The team believes “fresh is best” when it comes to beer, too. With the brewery and bar both at the upper Cuba Street site, Heyday serves the serious beer aficionado and casual bar-goer. The brews are constantly evolving to supply the best product for the taps. Heyday releases around 25 beers every year. Anything from coffee-infused white stout to grapefruit New England IPAs.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 5 different beers and tried them all.
