Early Saturday evening. A hen party occupying the inside eating area. We got a booth outside and turned the heating on. I think the prices must have included a heating tax! £10 for a mocktail and £5.90 for a pint, but I did get indifferent service from the barman thrown in for free. We only stayed for one drink.
Two other ales on, one handwritten “Detroit IPA” (reasonably OK) and a Felinfoel Stout with no ABV on pump clip.
Bordering on the Monmouthshire and Brecon canal in Main Road. Stone built house with an L shaped interior incorporating bar and eating area. Outside yard with half a dozen heated booths and a couple of uncovered tables.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 0 of them.
