Monday afternoon visit. I’m not a fan of Emmerdale but as we were nearby just had to tick this iconic frontage (the interior has never been used for filming but is peppered with signed photos of Emmerdale cast members going back decades.
Only a couple of other customers in. We sat out front in the sunshine and appreciated this rather unspoilt Yorkshire village.

The pub is found in Esholt, West Yorkshire, BD17 7QZ.
In Main Street in the small village of Esholt. Unspoilt local stone buildings throughout the village and the pub fully in keeping. Traditional two-bar layout with decked area to the rear. The sloped frontage is laid out with six trestle tables and has featured as the setting for the local pub (of the same name) in the long running soap, Emmerdale.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
