Martin the MildmanExcellent17 May 2010 Black mild with lots of chocolate malt to give a bitter, roasty flavour. Little hop character and a dryish finish. My score 16/20.

Great British Beer Festival 2006, Earl's Court, Central London

IanExcellent04 Aug 2006 Nice dark mild. Good grainy malts, without being powdery. Aroma of choc and coffee. Deep ruby colour with lasting thin beige head. Best session strength mild of the festival. Bit of bitterness on end.
