IanGood02 Jul 2007 Fine, drank it quickly and it slipped down easily.
IanGood09 Jun 2007 Fine, could have sunk a few of these.
AndrewExcellent28 Sep 2006 Ice cold, umm not sure that's a good thing but anyway... Slightly creamy and fizzy mouth feel. Loads of burnt sweetness with a slight milkyness to it. The finish was of sweeter malt with a tight burnt bitterness to it.
IanExceptional12 Aug 2006 When you have this when it's good, it's stunning. Bitter choc, good malts, but creamy and drinkable. Flavour is bitter choc and cream. Brilliant
IanAcceptable30 Nov 2005 A bit dull, flat and lifeless on this visit I am afraid
IanExcellent06 Aug 2005 Smooth creamy elegant and one of my favourite porters
IanGood11 Jun 2005 Very drinkable creamy smooth porter
IanExceptional14 May 2005 Superb velvety porter with chocolate/coffee malts on nose and finsih, creamy in mouth and totally satisfying
IanExceptional09 Mar 2005 Just so creamy and full of gorgeous malt flavours as to be a revelation from the very first. I keep fearing that the quality of this beer with cease to amaze me, but it hasn't happened yet
IanAcceptable23 Feb 2005 End of the barrel and needed changing
