Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

IanGood29 Jan 2008 Pale chestnut colour with lasting beige head. Looks in cracking condition. Crystal clear, lively head. Like all Grand Union beers, it's solid. I will miss this brewery when it goes in the next week or so. Not sure if anyone will buy the brand and recipes, but the brew kit is going up north to the Wirral apparently. Hoppy aroma with some toffee/candy sugar. Absolutely fine in mouth, good sherberty hop finish. Toffee/nutty, good balance of ingredients. Solid
