Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

Kulminator, Antwerp, Belgium

IanAcceptable25 Feb 2006 Bit soapy. Deep reddy/brown colour, very bright. Lasting beige head. Slightly spicey as you would expect from a Xmas beer. Good graininess in mouth. Finish has spice hop mix. Rich malts throughout. Some rubber.

Dubuisson Bush de Noel

12.00% ABV.

This is a sweet beer with a pleasant flavour of hops. Indeed, for Bush de Noel, the brewer uses a traditional process which consists in placing hops flowers in the vats where the beer rests for four to six weeks by which time it will have reached full mat.

We have tried this beer once.

We have given this beer an average score of Acceptable.
