Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

BlairGood13 Nov 2009 This tasted like a porter that's had some of the beer bottle penny sweets left to dissolve in it. Odd but it's actually rather pleasant.

Dew Drop Inn, Eastbourne, East Sussex

AndrewUndrinkable14 Nov 2008 Both Ian and I had this. As I sipped it I instantly thought Vinegar! ...but Ian reckoned it was okay. Now Ian can spot diacetyl from 20 paces but vinegar seems to pass him by. This beer was awful.
IanUndrinkable14 Nov 2008 Vinegary porter, not in great nick. No condition. Some liquorice. We had to leave our half pints.

Apple Tree, Woodmancote, Gloucestershire
