The pub is quite old with lots of exposed beams but the décor was very 1970's I thought. The bar is well lit and has big mirrors behind it. The furniture consisted of black leather horse-shoe chairs and low tables. The staff were friendly and I quite liked the pub.

The pub is tucked down a side street not far from the centre of town. The pub is long and thin stepping down a level as you move to the rear where there is a small garden. Formerly a Shepherd Neame house.
