Decent numbers in for a Monday lunchtime. My carrot and coriander soup and chorizo and cheese panini were both very nice indeed.

The pub is found in York, North Yorkshire, YO1 8BN.
One of three city centre pubs owned by York Brewery (later saved from bankruptcy by Black Sheep Brewery), situated on a corner of King's Square in Colliergate. Good selection of its own and guest ales and continental beers. Closed for Covid lockdown in March 2020 and re-opened as a "temporary" bottle shop run by Black Sheep Brewery in October 2020. Closed 30th June 2023 with no specific reason given.
