Early afternoon we were sole occupiers of the front bar which soon filled up during our pint stay, another unruined and welcoming pub thankfully became the norm today..

Early Thursday evening, I had not been here before and decided to have a look inside. This place was well worth a visit.

Busy mid/late afternoon on a Saturday.
Wall's - Rudolph's Revenge | 4.40 | | A dark brown/ruby old style mild, a proper Christmas beer with no horrible spices to detract from the flavour of the beer. Smooth, sweet maltiness with hints of chocolate and toffee, full bodied flavour and a little fruity hoppiness in the finish. My score 17/20. |
