Rain Bar (J.W. Lees)
Visits Details
16 Mar 2016 (Andrew)
Large pub with some high table and booth seating. Quite busy when we visited.
JW Lees (see also Lees) - Bitter | 4.00 | | The tightest sparkler I've ever seen. Pint presented like a pale cascading snow globe. Needless to say that stripped all the flavour out. |
JW Lees (see also Lees) - MPA Manchester Pale Ale | 3.70 | Not Tried
JW Lees (see also Lees) - Delta Wing | 4.00 | Not Tried
JW Lees (see also Lees) - Pioneer | 4.10 | Not Tried

10 Sep 2012 (Alenomore)
18:00 visit. A smattering of people about. I sat overlooking the Rochdale Canal in this lovely converted building, with Lee's choosing a name for this, an ex Umbrella factory, that is synonomous with the local weather? Previously a gbg entry six times in;2001-5/7
JW Lees (see also Lees) - John Willie's | 4.50 | | In top condition. |
JW Lees (see also Lees) - The Governor | 3.80 | | Very nice. |

08 May 2012 (Martin the Mildman)
Almost deserted on a post Bank Holiday Tuesday lunchtime.
JW Lees (see also Lees) - Brewer's Dark | 3.50 | | Black mild with a sweet and malty character. Some fruit in the finish. My score 16/20. |

Rather quiet for a Friday lunchtime.
JW Lees (see also Lees) - Brewer's Dark | 3.50 | | Dark brown sweet and malty mild with very little hop character. Fairly dry, malty finish. My score 16/20. |
