14:15 visit. Not been here for some time. I finished work and cycled here, literally 5 minutes from Allington, over the lock and along the river. This is a great route back to town on a sunny day. Pub had a smattering of diners and drinkers alike on this quiet Tuesday.

A very large riverside restaurant/pub on several floor levels with cosy seating areas of various sizes. Accommodation is available in the adjacent Premier Inn. Closed 10th September 2026 for good under Whitbread restructuring plans.
