I had heard that this pub had re-opened very recently, and it sounded promising so I decided to pay a visit. Sittingbourne used to be a difficult journey by public transport from Ashford, but now it is easy with a simple change at Ebbsfleet. It was a rainy Thursday lunch time, with just one other customer in the pub, who had travelled by 'bus from Faversham.
