Doesn't deserve to qualify as a real ale pub but they have three hand pumps - only two with beer. If ever you come here, try to get the barmaid to lift even the slightest smile. Was in to meet folks I used to be at college with so it was still a good night despite best attemots of the girl behind the bar - get a job you enjoy!.

Hmm. Bar maid really grumpy - very Edinburgh - tried once only to raise a smile but she wasn't having any of it - and you can't make shandy from Deuchars - some new law of nature so it would seem. Pub quiz quite good though.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried both.
