Visits Details

22 Dec 2012 (Stephen Harris)
We met up here with quite a large group of Notts County supporters of our acquaintance – only to discover at 1pm that our match had been postponed because of the heavy rain. Oh dear, it looks like we shall have to spend the rest of the day “sightseeing” in Nottingham.

11 Feb 2012 (Martin the Mildman)
Very busy with loud groups of youths shouting at the screens showing football. Despite a good selection of guest beers, the need to move on was pressing.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Holden's - Temple of Love4.50ExcellentGolden bitter with a sweetish flavour with a hint of honey. Typical house style malty flavour and some citrus hop in the finish leaving a lingering aftertaste of malt, honey and hops. My score 16/20.
Magpie - Raven Stout4.40GoodDry stout with roast malt dominating and a dry, roast finish. My score 15/20.
Backyard - Silly Rucker4.60AcceptableAmber bitter with a bitter flavour but not much else going for it. My score 14/20.
