Pivovar U Fleku - Flekovsky Tmavy Lez?k 13? | 4.60 | Very dark brown in colour with thick beige head. Slightly sour aroma. Dark malts are slightly charcoaly but there's some toffee. Some creaminess in the mouth. I quite like this even though the waiters are slightly pushy. Good dark lager, plenty of subtle dark malt flavours with a slightly sour/dry finish. Bit of liquorice, just lacks the body |

The pub is found in Prague, Czech, 11000.
On the tourist trail (as you will find it in most of the travel guides), but don't let that put you off. The main bar is for the serving staff only really, but there are several rooms off this for the customers. The plentiful in number waiters will show you to a spare table. The main hall has narrow long well worn wooden tables. The dark lager is brought round on a large tray by one waiter and glasses are plonked down in front of you. This process won't stop unless you ask them to. Every time you get near the end of one beer, another will appear in front of you. Schnapps is also served in shot glasses at the table. Food is basic Czech, plentiful but meat heavy with dumplings. Piano accoridian player wanders around the tables. Traditional Czech drinking hall. Well worth a visit.
