Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Leeds - Jubilee IPA | 4.80 | A golden IPA, brewed with English hops giving a herbal/grassy flavour, rather than the citrus taste of a US-style IPA. | |
Battledown - Four Kings Ale | 7.20 | Strong and complex golden ale. Good hop mix. | |
Corvedale - Katie's Pride | 4.30 | A chestnut-coloured mild. No hops, hint of roastiness. | |
Milestone - Lionheart | 4.20 | A red ale with a malty, fruity, slightly sweet character. | |
Three Castles - Heritage | 4.20 | A copper-coloured beer with some hop bitterness and plenty of fruity, toffee and caramel tastes. Not my kind of thing really. | |
Marston's - Old Empire IPA | 5.70 | Not Tried | |
Oldershaw - Regal Blonde | 4.40 | Not Tried | “Coming next”. |

The pub is found in Hornsey, Greater London, N8 7NX.
A large, late-Victorian, high street pub in suburban Hornsey. Comfortable bar at the front and more of a games room feel to the rear. Once a Whitbread pub, it is now a good supporter of London’s micro-brewing scene.
We have visited this pub once, seen 11 different beers and tried 5 of them.
