---|---|---|---|
Harviestoun - Black Watch | 4.90 | Given the name, I was kind of expecting a black beer, a stout or a porter perhaps. In fact this is a copper-coloured beer with a heavy malt presence and bitter hops. | |
Purity - Pure UBU | 4.50 | Not Tried | |
Redemption - Trinity | 3.00 | Not Tried | Possibly the first time I have ever given this beer a miss when available. |

The pub is found in Islington, Central London, N1 8LN.
A large pub at the foot of an office building on busy Essex Road which opened in its present guise in 2010. Entered through a revolving door, there is a single, spacious, candlelit room with a large bar/servery. Lots of neon and coloured lights. To the rear is an events room. Handpumps removed by lessee Barworks before it passed the venue to a new lessee in October 2018, who has not reintroduced real ale.
We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
