This pub opens at 2pm, and I arrived just after opening time. There was some renovation work going on, and a few customers in each of the rooms. I had a good chat with the manager who has recently taken over this pub, and is particularly keen on his ales. He advised me of a suitable route back to the station which included a couple of his favourite pubs.
