Very popular pub on a Saturday afternoon with both bars buzzing.

On a Saturday afternoon the pub was reasonably busy. The main area had it's regular bunch of locals. The smaller bar with the plasma screen for sports, was much busier with Leeds Rhino fans. 7 real ales on, a mixture of regionals and micros including Tim Taylors Landlord, Caledonian Deuchars IPA, Adnams Bitter and a mild. Bit smokey though and a real locals pub.

The pub is found in Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS2 7DR.
Leeds city centre has been heavily revised and improved over the past 10 years. This iron shaped pub is just off that in the traditional rougher working class part. Even so, it is just a stone's throw from the centre. The pub has a central bar with a larger communal area and a room dominated by a plasma screen for sports. Beers are plentiful and a mix of regionals and a couple of smaller breweries. Before the smoking ban the smokey air could be cut with a knife, but there is no mistaking both the genuineness of the beer and the people.
