12:15 visit. A short walk from the Wetherspoons in Sale and soon found this current gbg. Very quiet at this time, but a nice old type, well refurbed, this year apparently, and very nice too.

Located in Cross Street. Grand old late Victorian pub, a Holt's house, sitting on the main road to Altrincham. Interior is open plan and very smart but the exterior is the best feature, after a big refurbishment in 2012, it shows up some fine, period features. Current 2013 GBG and 4 times previously in: 2009-12.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
