The pub is found in Eccles, Greater Manchester, M30 0EN.
A superb brick and terracotta pub built in 1904, it is largely intact and is listed in CAMRA's National Inventory of pub interiors of outstanding historic interest. There is a large public bar (vault) corridor drinking areas, a small room now used for pool, and a large room that used to be used for billiards. Closed on 29th September 2016 having been sold by Holt's to an unknown owner whose intentions are unknown. Most of the pub furniture had been removed earlier that day.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 1 beer and tried it.
