Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Brootcorens - Angelus Blonde | 7.00 | An amber coloured beer, served by keg dispense. Full-on and nicely balanced. More in the Triple style than a straightforward blonde we thought. | |
Brasserie Artisanale la Choulette - La Tour d’Ostrevant | 8.50 | A proper Bière de Garde, served from a 75cl bottle. Golden in colour, full-bodied and strong. Both Robert and I found it a little too heavy and grainy. | |
Brasserie du Pays Flamand - La Bracine Ambrée | 7.00 | On keg dispense. A golden-coloured beer with a nice hoppy aroma. Taste is mostly sweetish and caramel with the hops very much in the background. |

The pub is found in Lille, France, 59000.
Beer-specialist pub on Place Sébastopol in the city centre. Quite a small frontage, with a few pavement tables, the pub is quite a bit bigger than it first appears. There is a cosy front room by the bar and another seating area to the rear, plus a basement seating area brought in to use at busy times. Around 15 beers available on tap, plus a good bottle list.
We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried them all.
