Half hour before 14.00 closing. Friendly welcome we chatted with the licensees and enjoyed the pleasant and relaxed atmosphere in this proper pub.

A small, mid-terrace pub in Greys Road, established by the 1860s and located off the town centre in a residential area – the Henley pub most tourists don’t find, but a serial CAMRA award winner. A cosy front bar, with a family room behind and a nice garden at the rear. Local CAMRA South Oxfordshire Branch Pub of the Year for 2006, 2008, 2010, 2014, 2016 and 2020.

We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 10 different beers and tried 5 of them.
