On the way to Narwich, probably for the last time as a pitstop on this run. Under new ownership-the builders were in, fitting out some letting bedrooms.We arrived on the dot of twelve, with the pensioners. Good.

Saturday lunchtime: we met the family for lunch. We sat in the bar under the flag,busy with drinkers and diners.

We were taking our daughter to Norwich,and discovered that one of her lecturers taught me back in the 70s.Busy with diners on an August Saturday lunchtime. We sat in the little Gallery opposite the bar.

Late on a Monday lunchtime.A few diners in the light and airy bar, with more in the garden at the back.We sat at a table by the window overlooking the village square and discussed weaknesses of the flesh and nasal hair.

The pub is found in Hingham, Norfolk, NR9 4AF.
Former coaching inn in Market Place, that had become rather run down. Rescued and restored by the Flying Kiwi chain. Website describes it as a restaurant and, as you would expect for a pub owned by a celebrity chef, food dominates in the three dining rooms on two floors. That said you can still go in for a drink.
We have visited this pub 6 times, seen 7 different beers and tried 4 of them.
