A much poshed-up version of the pub I used to know in the mid-1980s. Quiet and relaxed in mid-afternoon, with most of the small number of customers out in the garden enjoying the sunshine.

The pub is found in Herne Hill, Greater London, SE24 0JT.
A curved fronted pub at the extreme southerly end of Railton Road right opposite the main entrance to Herne Hill railway station. Recently refurbished into shabby chic style of interior which is intermingled with many original dark wood and glass features. Only one bar counter serving the left hand bar only with further seating behind this on the right. A mixture of styles and heights of tables and chairs. Clear food orientation. "Secret" rear garden looks as if it is primarily for smokers' use. 4 handpumps on the bar counter. Generally expensive.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 6 different beers and tried 2 of them.
