Remarkably (given that I have been a frequent visitor to Brussels with work for twenty years, sometimes on a weekly basis) this is my first ever visit here. It is crowded and there are queues for tours and queues at the bar. My time is short, so I don’t really do the place justice.

| Cantillon - Kriek | 5.00 | | Addition of cherries over a long maturation process rounds off all the roughness of the Lambic. Dry, with sourness rather than sweetness; all the sugar in the cherries being converted to alcohol and no additional sugar or juice added. |
| Cantillon - Lambic | 5.00 | | 15 month-aged, un-blended Lambic straight from the barrel. Amber-coloured and clear. Very dry and a little sour and a bit woody. |

14:30 Quick visit between arriving at Brussels Midi and getting a train to Utrecht. Very busy with mainly American tourists.

14:15 Visit with the CAMRA Members Investments Club. Very informative tour plus samples of four beers. Had a new bottled beer before the tour.
