The pub is found in Portishead, Somerset, BS20 6JZ.
A very large pub in Nore Road that started life in 1908 as a clubhouse for Portishead’s small municipal golf course. Converted to pub use in recent years, it was initially called the Hole in One; changed now to the Windmill Inn. It is built around, and in truth completely dominates, a Grade II-listed stone windmill building which last ground corn in 1842. The feel of the pub is very much that of a modern building, with a small bar area at the front and very extensive dining areas on two floors, designed to make a feature of the superb sea views across the Bristol Channel to far-away Wales. Outside tables on decking at the front. Acquired by Fuller's in recent years.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 10 different beers and tried 2 of them.
