Archers - Tinderbox | 3.90 | Clear orangey/gold colour with thin disappearing white head. Cheesy hop aroma. Some citrus, some minerality. Some malt juiciness in mouth. Finish has some tangerine juice and it’s really a very pleasant session bitter with very nice tangerine/orange fruit juice on finish. Some dryness too.
Greene King - IPA (was 3.6%) | 3.40 | Crystal clear chestnut colour with lasting beige head. Caramel and yeasty flavour. A bit of vanilla caramel flavour in mouth. Fullish in mouth. Decent lick of drying hop on end. Faint tingle on tip of tongue. Little bit flabby. Not exciting, but competent and well served.
