15:30 Birthday drink with my son. About half of the tables occupied. Full when we left an hour later. Good atmosphere. For the second time in the day people standing at the bar made buying a round difficult. I don't know what prevents these people sitting down and also stops them realising what a nuisance they are.

Merseyside's first micropub, converted from a children's clothes shop. Corner bar with five handpumps. Two built in benches and 8 round tables. Would sit about 30 comfortably. The name comes from an extinct pigeon that lived in French Polynesia.
